Over this past holiday season, Computer Frontiers Inc. gave each staff person $100 to give away those in need. All of the employees where touched by this opportunity to give, as well as the various recipients who received the donation. The heartwarming stories will be shared in hope that those who read and hear of the acts of kindness will be blessed by it too.

Please read below about the organization, the Wounded Warrior Project, that Charity of CFI staff chose to give the money to.

I chose to donate to Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that serves veterans and service members of the United States Armed Forces who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families.

Every day, the members of the U.S. military not only fight to protect the lives and freedom of U.S. citizens, but to protect the lives and to help secure the freedom of civilians in the countries where the serve.  Those that are injured on the battlefield may have lost limbs, become paralyzed or mentally disabled.  Many are dealing with a severe case of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.  Wounded Warrior Project gives support to these veterans and service members and their families during their rehabilitation and help them to reintegrate into society.

I chose Wounded Warrior Project because they serve people who have put their lives on the line for others and, because of that, have sustained an injury that will change their life forever.  They and their families have made a huge sacrifice and it is only fitting that they should be supported as they attempt to recover from or adapt to their injuries.
